It's like the bubble days all over for me

I'm working my butt off like it was my first year at amazon.com. I spend all day at the gym and then I get home around 10pm or so and answer emails for a few hours. I'm having fun but it's tougher to keep these hours now that I'm a little older.

A customer came in today to sign up. He mentioned that he find Denali Fitness and my blog through Dave's blog. Pretty cool.

I've taken a bunch of pictures of our progress on the gym. I'll try to post them.

We were going to open this past Monday, January 10, but that fell apart last week when our carpet got stuck on the other side of the Rockies due to the snowstorm. On the plus side, it gives us more time to fix up a few more things. On the downside, it's 5 days of membership revenue that we can never recoup.

I learned yesterday that our dumbell racks are going to arrive 2+ weeks late, that means we'll have 36 pairs of dumbbells sitting on the floor. I also discovered that none of our benches are arriving in the first shipment. Luckily, TechnoGym is going to step up and loan us a couple of benches.

Our 10,000 postcard mailing has generated a lot of interest--phone calls and emails.

The equipment arrives in 8 hours. I can't wait. 53 hours until we open.
