Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks passed away yesterday. Her courage not only in refusing to give up her seat but also in agreeing to participate in the NAACP lawsuit changed America. How many people would agree to risk their lives to fight an injustice? In a time of lynchings and church bombings, she agreed to become a target in the civil rights movement. She demonstrated how one person can make a difference. A lesson for us all.

In the days of segregation with separate bathrooms for whites and blacks, where did Asians fit in?
