So I'm trying to post

So I'm trying to post some pictures from the wedding to my site. I used Adobe Photoshop and it's web gallery function and then imported the gallery into MS Frontpage. Let me know what you think of the results--I posted all the pictures from my trip since I was too lazy to pull out the bad ones. If you want the full size photo to print, let me know and I can post it on my site or Ofoto. Can anyone recommend a good photo editing software package? Adobe Photoshop is a bit over my head.

Has anyone used Moveable Type for their blog? Looks like a lot of effor to install.

I just received my bill to renew the vehicle tabs on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The total fee comes to $340.50 which includes $216.00 for the Seattle Monorail Tax. The Monorail is an idiotic plan to to alleviate traffic congestion by connecting two neighborhoods to downtown Seattle. One of the biggest shortcomings of this plan is that anyone living in those neighborhoods commuting to downtown never even gets on the freeway today (the freeways are the worst congestion problems in the area). In addition, anyone that lives in either of those neighborhoods today will tell you that they have a fairly easy commute into and out of the city. So we're spending $2 billion to improve some of the easiest commutes into downtown. In case you're wondering how our elected officials approved such a boondoggle project, they didn't. The voters approved it by initiative--once again my opinion of the average American declines.

Mars is close. Does anyone have a nice telescope I can borrow?

Rosa and Paul's wedding was

Rosa and Paul's wedding was a lot of fun. It was fun hanging with my friends from Michigan. I'll try to post some pictures in the near future.

I visited Pac Bell Park for the first time today, it's a beautiful baseball park. We got there late and we spent more time just walking around the stadium than we did actually watching the game (SF won 3-2 over Florida).

Okay, so I've lost some

Okay, so I've lost some stuff that I was writing about. It's a bit annoying.

I'm in Napa Valley for Rosa's wedding. It was a painful trip getting out here, starting with my flight being cancelled due to a hole in the floor. Some good friends from business school are out here so it should be a lot of fun. My brother lives in the Bay Area as do many of my friends but I probably won't have any time to see them.

To connect to the internet, I'm using a cable and some software from FutureDial. I bought the cable and software so that I could sync my Outlook contacts and calendar with my phone but it doesn't sync contacts very well and it doesn't sync the calendar at all. So much for my hope of making my Palm Pilot obsolete. Nevertheless, the ability to get online through my phone was a great surprise and well worth the money.

Have you heard the talk about Retired General Wesley Clark possibly running for President?

Okay, it seems to be working now. Looks like I might have to relearn html--it's been 7 years since I last used it.
